Celebrities, spiritual leaders and everyone who is famous, often come in the spotlight of things that help them gain attention, both negative and positive from people across the globe. Currently under fire is spiritual preacher and singer Jaya Kishori. Known for her spiritual preaching, the 29-year-old was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport, with her massive suitcase and a Dior bag. While most of us won’t be surprised to see luggage at the airport, the internet came aggressively to the comments section and slammed Kishori for her contradictory views towards life.
As someone who often preaches about non-materialism and detachment, Kishori carrying a custom Dior tote bag, angered netizens and many ended up calling her “fake.” What added fuel to the fire was the material used in making her expensive Dior bag, which according to the luxury label’s website includes cotton and “Calfskin.” A Twitter user shared the snapshot of Kishori with the bag and wrote–”Spiritual preacher Jaya Kishori deleted her video where she was carrying a Dior bag worth ₹ 210000 only. By the way, she preaches Non-Materialism & calls herself a Devotee of Lord Krishna. One more thing: Dior makes bags by using Calf Leather.”

Besides the hefty price, the Hindu preacher was also slammed for buying animal skin-made products, while preaching about cow worship on the Internet. Well, in the internet world today, one has to be mindful of what they post and not because fooling the audiences can push you to pay a heavy price. For the unversed, Jaya Kishori is a popular figure on the internet, known as a motivational and spiritual speaker, she is often seen promoting the idea of simple living.
