The Meghalaya honeymoon case has left us all wondering about the dying humanity in today’s time. More shocking details about the case have emerged after the police recreated the scene with the five accused held in custody. The police discovered that there were two machetes used to kill Raja Raghuvanshi, and as per the reports, the second one has also been found. According to reports, Sonam Raghuvanshi was present when the first attack was made by the killers. Read on to know more about it.
New Details Emerge
There are new developments in the murder of a 29-year-old businessman, Raja Raghuvanshi, allegedly killed by his wife Sonam, during their honeymoon in Meghalaya. The five accused are in police custody and the crime scene was recently recreated by the police. According to reports, Sonam Raghuvansh ran away from the crime after Vishal (one of the accused) made the first attack on Raja Raghuvanshi. The victim started crying for help and was bleeding heavily but Sonam ran from there. The killers continued the attack on him till he died, as per an NDTV report.
Sonam Raghuvanshi only returned when the crime was done and she helped them to dispose off the body, as per the police. The second machete used in the crime was also recovered from the same place where police found the first machete and Raja’s body.

As per the police, Sonam had confessed to the crime. The alleged boyfriend Raj Kushwaha is also arrested an as per the investigation, he has emerged as the mastermind behind this horrifying crime.
