The bone-chilling case where a man was allegedly murdered during his honeymoon in Meghalaya has shocked the nation. His wife Sonam Raghuvanshi was found in Ghazipur, in a dhaba near the highway and she allegedly surrendered to the police. There are new updates on the matter, as per which, the dhaba owner said that the woman had approached him just few hours before her arrest. Read on to know more about it.
What Did The Dhaba Owner Say?
As per the latest updates on the Sonam Raghuvanshi case, the owner of the Kashi Dhaba on the Varanasi-Ghazipur road in Uttar Pradesh revealed more details during a media interaction. While speaking to IANS, Sahil Yadav said that Sonam Raghuvanshi came up to him at 1 AM at night and asked for a mobile phone. Furthermore, she called her family. As per the owner, Sonam also told him that her husband died after saving her from some men who were trying to snatch jewellery from her. According to the reports, Sonam Raghuvanshi was crying a lot after she came to the dhaba, and the owner quickly informed the police right after.
As per the Dhaba owner, the woman also could not recall how she reached Uttar Pradesh.

Reportedly, the police have caught 4 men along with Sonam, and one of them is allegedly her boyfriend. As per the reports, Sonam Raghuvanshi is accused of killing her husband and also for hiring men to do the job.

As of now, the investigation is ongoing and the police is trying to look for more evidence. The man’s body was found in Meghalaya, four days after the couple went missing. We hope justice is served.
