Shocking! Sonam Raghuvanshi Confesses To Murdering Husband On Meghalaya Honeymoon Trip
Sonam Raghuvanshi has reportedly confessed to murdering her husband during Meghalaya trip!

In a disturbing turn of events, what began as a scenic honeymoon trip to Meghalaya has ended in a murder investigation involving newlywed bride Sonam Raghuvanshi. According to the police reports, Sonam Raghuvanshi had been missing since her husband Raja Raghuvanshi’s body was found in a remote gorge, has now surrendered to authorities in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. The case has taken the country by surprise, with police alleging that she played a central role in orchestrating the murder.
Sonam Raghuvanshi Admits Murdering Husband In Meghalaya
Raja, a resident of Indore, was found dead beneath the parking area of the picturesque Weisawdong Falls in East Khasi Hills on June 2. Investigators believe his death was not accidental but the result of a premeditated murder, allegedly planned by his wife with the help of hired men.
An Inspector while speaking to IANS that Sonam’s surrender came under pressure and she will be sent to Meghalaya soon for court proceedings. Her arrest brings the total number of individuals held in connection with the crime to four. A fifth suspect is still on the run.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) assigned to the case carried out coordinated operations in multiple states to track the suspects. Moreover, Sonam was arrested in both Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
Sonam’s family, however, has spoken out strongly against the allegations. Her father, Devi Singh, maintains her innocence and insists that she voluntarily turned herself in at a local dhaba in Ghazipur. He accused Meghalaya police of twisting the story and demanded a CBI inquiry to ensure a fair investigation. “She didn’t run. She came home and called her brother,” he said.
The couple had begun their trip on May 21, checking into a guesthouse in Shillong. The next day, they rented a scooter and set off for Cherrapunjee. On May 23, they checked out early from a homestay near the living root bridges in Nongriat and declined breakfast, saying they would handle the return trek on their own.

That was the last confirmed sighting until a guide spotted them later that day, reportedly accompanied by three unknown men. It was also reported that after days of searching, the police found the abandoned scooter and later, Raja’s body. With GPS data and CCTV footage now supporting theories of multiple accomplices, investigators are piecing together what happened on that isolated trail, and why a honeymoon turned into a horrifying crime scene.
