The security around Salman Khan has been tightened after the actor received multiple death threats. Since Baba Siddique’s tragic murder case, the Mumbai police have received many calls demanding a lump sum amount and threats against the actor.  Earlier, one such threat involved a demand of Rs. 5 crore from the actor, and on November 12, the police arrested a 24-year-old aspiring songwriter for allegedly making those threats under Lawrence Bishnoi’s name.

Singer Arrested For Sending Threatening Messages To Salman Khan Under Lawrence Bishnoi’s Name

On November 12, 2024, the crime branch arrested a 24-year-old songwriter named Sohail Pasha from Raichu, Karnataka. The songwriter was accused of sending threatening messages to Salman Khan under the name of Lawrence Bishnoi. According to the police, Sohail Pasha sent threatening messages to get attention for his songs. For the unversed,  the  Mumbai traffic police received these threatening messages on November 7 where the sender claimed to be part of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and threatened to kill Salman Khan and the writer of a song from his upcoming film if Salman Khan didn’t pay him Rs. 5 crore. According to The Indian Express reports, Sohail Pasha is the lyricist of a song in Salman’s upcoming film and he made these threats to gain publicity.

Well, despite all the tension and threats Salman Khan is busy shooting his upcoming film- Sikandar in Hyderabad. As per Mid-Day reports, Salman is under a four-level security system, and strict safety measures are being taken. Moreover, the highly-anticipated Sikandar also features Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, and Sharman Joshi playing leading roles and will hit the theatres on Eid 2025.
