The newest Ambani bahu, Radhika Merchant, was recently spotted with her family members at the opening match of the IPL 2026. The high-voltage war between the Mumbai Indians and the Kolkata Knight Riders on March 29 made headlines. And while her outfit was simple, her watch turned quite a lot of heads. She was seen with a dreamy lilac piece by Richard Mille, which is an ultra-rare creation, reportedly only accessible to a few people with a mind-blowing price tag.
About Radhika Merchant’s Watch
The watch on Radhika Merchant’s wrist was the RM 75-01 Flying Tourbillon Sapphire from Richard Mille. The clock is inspired by the crystalline transparency of oceans and the grandeur of Gothic architecture, and it is supposed to be ethereal, almost sculpture-like. But what makes it unique is the fully skeletonised design with a view of the intricate movement. This comes in different variations, with a lilac pink sapphire one spotted on Merchant, with just 10 pieces available worldwide.
But to craft this exquisite piece is another story. The case is carved from solid sapphire blocks that require over 1,000 hours of machining. For the unversed, it takes about 40 days of continuous grinding, and not just this, the sapphire demands a very hard precision with components assembled at micron-level tolerances. Its three-part case is designed for robustness while keeping a delicate look, complete with water resistance and titanium screws.

The movement is supported by a titanium baseplate, and the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock rotates 360 degrees every 60 seconds. The timepiece has a power reserve of up to 65 hours. Radhika Merchant’s Richard Mille clock costs $2.26 million (roughly ₹21.39 crore), as reported by the Instagram feed theindianhorology. Aside from Radhika, global celebrities such as Travis Scott, Rafael Nadal, and Lewis Hamilton are known to wear ultra-rare pieces from Richard Mille’s most premium collections.
