Another arrest has been made in the espionage case, and this time, it’s a YouTuber from Punjab. This comes days after YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s arrest from Hisar, Haryana. The Punjab YouTuber Jasbir Singh has been arrested for allegedly spying for Pakistan. He is also accused of having links with ISI agents and reportedly with Jyoti Malhotra too. The Punjab police have arrested Jasbir Singh, a YouTuber who hails from Mahlan village in Rupnagar district. The YouTuber was arrested in the spying case; as per the news reports, he was in contact with some ISI agents. As per a Business Today report, Jasbir was in contact with a suspected ISI agent named Shakir alias Jutt Randhawa. The YouTuber was also in contact with a Pakistani official named Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, and the latter had also invited Jasbir to the Pakistan National Day celebration at the Pakistani Embassy in Delhi.
As per the reports, the police also stated that Jasbir Singh was in contact with Jyoti Malhotra, another YouTuber who is under police custody on espionage charges. The Punjab YouTuber reportedly travelled to Pakistan several times in the last few years, and after Jyoti Malhotra’s arrest, he tried to erase a lot of the data to clean the trail, as per the news reports.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police are trying to retrieve more data on the suspect. They are trying to break down all the links in this espionage case. Previously, many more arrests have been made in the spying case.
