Authorities Reveal Jyoti Malhotra Shared Sensitive Information With A Pakistani Agent Via WhatsApp

Arrested YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra may have allegedly shared sensitive information about India with Pakistani agent.

An alleged conversation between travel YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra and a Pakistani intelligence officer has surfaced, which could serve as further proof of the YouTuber’s involvement with Pakistan. Jyoti Malhotra was recently arrested under espionage charges for her alleged links with Pakistani Intelligence Operatives and is currently being investigated by the National Investigation Agency and the Indian Intelligence Bureau. 

Sources suggest Jyoti was in constant touch with Ali Hasan, who worked for the Inter Services Intelligence, the spy agency of Pakistan. Officials have also found a WhatsApp conversation between the 33-year-old YouTuber and Hasan. One of the chats found between the two was about Jyoti telling Ali Hasan to get her married in Pakistan.

Reports suggest that the WhatsApp chats also revealed coded conversations between the two, which may be related to the undercover operations of India. During the investigation, the police have four bank accounts belonging to Jyoti Malhotra, said police sources. Transactions from Dubai were also found in one of the accounts. The agencies are now looking through all of her bank accounts to find out where she was receiving money from.

Jyoti Malhotra, had visited Pakistan twice, during which she had come into contact with Rahim, an official at the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi. Rahim had later introduced her to the Pakistani intelligence operatives.

Back in India, Jyoti remained in contact with people from Pakistan and have allegedly shared sensitive information about the movement of the Indian army with them. Her father had initially claimed that he had knowledge of Jyoti travelling to Pakistan to shoot videos. However he later retracted by saying she told him she was going to Delhi not Pakistan.
