PC: X

Some men talk about how women are incapable of working in “male-dominated” fields, but will those misogynists be capable of being good humans? That’s the bare minimum. Some people have truly lost the sense of what they type and who they mock on social media. They always target women, no matter how much she has accomplished or if she is no more in this world. The same happened when the news broke that the plane carrying late Maharashtra deputy CM Ajit Pawar was operated by a two-person cockpit crew, which included a woman captain, Shambhavi Pathak and captain in command Sumit Kapur. Amid this, Shambhavi, who passed away in the crash, is being blamed for the tragedy. Classic!

Captain Shambhavi Pathak Gets Blamed For Ajit Pawar’s Plane Crash

Many people on social media have been blaming Captain Shambavi Pathak for the plane crash in which Ajit Pawar lost his life. She is being subjected to the stereotype that women can’t operate machines or can’t drive. Can people stoop any lower? Apparently, they can because some have still not realised the gravity of this matter. A person on X (formerly Twitter) stated that the X chromosome has not learnt to ride a sooty yet. He also took it further by stating that employing females in male-dominated jobs is “s*icidal work” and that the government should pay special attention. Many people are going back to an old tweet Ajit Pawar made praising women captains. When the news of his death broke, a person took to that particular post and penned “Om Shanti.”

Stop Making This About Gender

A very sad tragedy has happened and five people, including Ajit Pawar, Shambhavi Pathak, Sumit Kapur, Vidit Jadhav and Pinki Mali have lost their lives. This is not about gender. Period. Captain Shambavi was a very accomplished pilot who got her license after excelling in the required tests. The only thing misogynists can do is run their mouths with stupid and insensitive ideologies. This is tragic! Maybe they need to get a life rather than telling women how to live one. The 5 people who died, their families are grieving and the bare minimum netizens can do is offer their condolences.
