About Sarah Baloch Viral MMS

For the unversed, Sarah Baloch is a popular Pakistani content creator famous for making lifestyle, fashion, and travel vlogs. She has a large follower bar on Instagram and TikTok and her high engagement on social media made her an attractive target for clickbait scams. And in this case, the cybercriminals have reused old and unrelated footage of her and placed her images with provocative headlines.

They also make sure that the content spreads quickly across WhatsApp groups and Facebook suggested feeds.  It is also important to note that Sarah Baloch has no connection to the content of the links. Her pictures are being used without her consent. To target Indian users, scammers use a technique called localisation where harmful messages include captions like, “Shocking news from Assam.”
