Pahalgam Victim;s Urges Indians To Boycott Asia Cup’s India-Pakistan Match, Says BCCI Has No Empathy

The country has not forgotten the horrifying terror attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam that took so many innocent lives. A young woman also lost her husband, and the couple had gotten married just a few months before the unfortunate attack. In a statement, she condemned the India-Pakistan match, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 14. According to her, the BCCI could’ve avoided this match as a respect to the Pahalgam victims. Read on.

What Did The Pahalgam Victim’s Wife Say?

In the terror attack, a Kanpur-based Businessman, Shubham Dwivedi, lost his life. He was on a vacation with his wife and relatives in Pahalgam, and they were a newlywed married couple. Ahead of the India-Pakistan match in the Asia Cup 2025, the family of Shubham Dwivedi has condemned the match. As per a TOI report, the family called the match a disrespect towards the Pahalgam victims’ family. In her statement, Shubham’s wife Aishanya also stated that the BCCI has forgotten the sacrifice her husband’s sacrifice and that they lacked sympathy for all other families too. She also added that the martyrs of the Operation Sindoor were also not given sympathy, and except a few cricketers, no one came forward to boycott India-Pakistan match.

As per the reports, Aishanya also highlighted the revenues that this match would bring to the neighbouring country and how they could be use to support terrorism. She further urged Indian’s to boycott the India-Pakistan final match, as per ANI.

The India-Pakistan will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Many people on social media have also supported this boycott.
