Pahalgam Attack: From Amit Shah’s Visit To Sketches Of Suspected Terrorists, Here Are 5 Updates

A mass shooting happened in the Pahalgam region of Jammu & Kashmir on April 22 2025. The Pahalgam Massacre of Hindu Tourists was an event in which terrorists from the Resistance Front (TRF) opened fire on a group of Hindu tourists. The brutal assault killed at least 28 people and injured more than 20. From pictures of suspects to horrifying details of the attack, here are five updates on the incident.

1. Terrorists Asked Victim To Chant Islamic Verse

One of the affected families was quivering with fear inside their tent when the terrorists came. Santosh Jagdale, 54, was asked to come out and recite an Islamic verse, and when he couldn’t, they shot him thrice. The 26-year-old daughter of the Pune businessman told PTI.

2. Sketches Of Suspected Terrorists

Security officials have released photos and sketches of the alleged terrorists responsible for the attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which killed 26 tourists and injured several more. The three terrorists are named as Asif Fuji, Suleman Shah, and Abu Talha.

3. Amit Shah Meets Pahalgam Victims

Union Home Minister Amit Shah met the victims of the Pahalgam attack and assured them that terrorists will not be spared. After paying respect to the ones who died, he met their families in Srinagar. Victim families broke down in tears as they met him.

Indian Navy Lieutenant Vinay Narwal’s wife bids him an emotional farewell as her husband, who was killed in the terror attack. The duo had just gotten married on April 16, 2025. A heartbreaking moment for the country.

5. Current Situation Of The State

The Jammu region has been placed on high alert, and demonstrations erupted in many spots on Tuesday following the attack. People in Doda town conducted a demonstration and burned effigies late Tuesday evening, while the Kishtwar unit of the Sanatan Dharam Sabha declared a bandh on Wednesday in protest of the attack.
