While speaking about gender-neutral spaces on the podcast, Orry clarified that he was not anti-trans. He stated that separate facilities were important for women’s safety to avoid confusion, particularly in India. During this, he asked the host, Kavya Karnatac, if she had a daughter who used the washroom when there was a man with his “ding-dong” peeing next to her and if she would be okay with that. She expressed wanting genderless spaces. He then stated that it was a simple yes or no question. The host responded by saying “no.” This clip took no time to go viral after this. Sounds lovely in in the woke kingdom you live in Dear lady.” The singer asked if Kavya Karnatac had travelled in a Delhi bus or an unreserved train compartment as a young woman in India because she had. Sona also recalled the relentless harassment. She questioned that until safety is equal, can we really pretend vulnerability is? The singer further asked, “Dear India, has this changed & i am not in sync with the times? Do feel free to correct me. Good on you dear gentleman.”
