The ongoing investigation of Nikki Bhati’s death in Noida has seen some recent developments after police recovered some CCTV footage. Read on to know more.

Latest Update On The Nikki Bhatia Case

According to the news reports, the police have recovered some new CCTV footage which showed a man, apparently Nikki Bhati’s husband Vipin Bhati standing in front of a shop outside their home at the same time when the victim was allegedly burnt alive over reportedly dowry case. In the CCTV, the police spotted a man in checkered shirt at around 5:45 PM on August 21, standing and talking to some boys around, as per an India TV report.

Some moments later, there was a chaos, a man rushed inside and carried Nikki from inside the house, and immediately took her to hospital inside the car. However, the police is still investigating the footages.

For the unversed, Nikki Bhati’s sister has accused the victim’s husband of murdering her over dowry demands. The police have also taken into custody, the victim’s mother-in-law, father-in-law, and brother-in-law. Many reports around how much dowry she brought for the family have surfaced. Reportedly, Nikki Bhati also went back to her parents’ home several times, but she was made to return due to the societal pressures.
