Sushila Karki took the oath as the interim Prime Minister of Nepal, and KP Sharma Oli submitted his resignation to the President. During the Nation’s address, Sushila Karki said that the Gen Z protestors who lost their lives during the protest would be officially given the title of Martyrs. She also announced 10 Lakhs as the financial assistance that would be given to the families of the martyrs.

As per an India Today report, the Prime Minister has also stated that the incidents of vandalism would be investigated.
The Timeline
Sushila Karki also announced that her government would not be staying for more that six months, after which they would transfer the powers to the new government. She also requested support from the public.
