She added that she was born a girl and not a transgender person, adding no offence to the said community. She also addressed the speculation regarding Desmond’s s*xuality, asking people why they were calling a straight man queer as an insult. She further stated that TMZ had reached out to her the saying they were going to release their video, asking her if she wanted to put out any statement regarding the same. Marissa revealed that she told the publication about not knowing who Desmond was before sharing an intimate moment.
She also said, “I’m pretty sure when you meet someone at a club, you don’t interrogate them about who or what their social media status is, and obviously, many drinks in, the vibes were there, as you can tell.” Marissa further expressed that she wanted to clear her name and that the moral of this story was that no one knows what goes on behind closed doors. She also said that one should never reach a point where they receive d*ath threats.
