The other day, a video went viral on social media, which left many people with a lot of questions; some of them reacted too harshly to it as well. The video was of an Indian minister, Anurag Thakur, who was addressing a group of school kids on the topic of space. His statement on who stepped into space first went viral in no time.

A video of BJP MP Anurag Thakur surfaced on the internet, and in no time, it became a heated topic of discussion. The minister addressed many school kids in an event on the day of National Space Day. In the video, Anurag Thakur asked the kids about the first person to go to space, and the children in sync together said the name ‘Neil Armstrong’, however, the BJP MP did not look much impressed in the video. In response, he shares his belief with the kids, and said that the first person to go to space was ‘Hanuman Ji’, and the minister further went on highlight how we as a country should not forget our roots.
The moment it surfaced on social media, Anurag Thakur received a lot of flak and criticism for his statement, especially for sharing meaningless information with the kids. The Twitter users called out the minister and questioned him for spreading wrong information with the kids.
