Police Says Killers Failed Thrice To Kill Raja Raghuvanshi, Explain Why

New details in the Meghalaya honeymoon case are emerging everyday. The police interacted with the media and revealed some shocking details about the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, allegedly planned by his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi and her alleged boyfriend Raj Kushwaha. In recent revelations, the police said that the killer had three failed attempts they finally killed Raja at Weisawdong falls. Read on to know more.

What Did The Police Say?

The police have called Raj Kushwaha, the mastermind behind the whole plan and that Sonam Raghuvanshi just followed it. As per an NDTV report, police also said that the killers attempted to murder Raja first time in Guwahati, the in two different locations of Meghalaya’s Sohra, and finally did that at Weisawdong falls. As per the police, the men could not kill Raja in Guwahati because they could not find a place to dispose the body. As per the Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem, the same problem occurred in Nongriat, and the third time they tried killing him between Mawlakhiat and Weisawdong when Raja went to the washroom.

As per the police, the three alleged killer s had reached Guwahati before the couple, but Sonam changed the plan to go to Shillong and Sohra, therefore they could not kill in Guwahati.

As per the news reports, the culprits have confessed to the crime and further investigation is ongoing. However, Raj Kushwaha’s mother continues to deny her son’s involvement in the matter. His sister claimed that Raj addressed Sonam as ‘didi’. However, all the culprits are in police remand and are being questioned.
