Meghalaya Honeymoon Row: Sonam Raghuvanshi Cries After Seeing Alleged Boyfriend On Video Call

In a recent development in the high-profile murder case of Raja Raghuvanshi, his wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, reportedly broke down during a police interrogation. Recent reports suggest that she broke down after seeing her lover, Raj Kushwaha, on a video call. Raj confessed to having an affair with her, and separate interviews were conducted during the custody proceedings. Read to know more about it.
Sonam Raghuvanshi’s Interrogation
According to Nai Duniya, the Deputy CM of Meghalaya, Prestone Tynsong, revealed that Raj Kushwaha was not in the state because he was handling the murder from outside. Though he confessed to having an affair, he denied any part in the murder. According to him, Sonam kept avoiding questions until she saw her lover on the video call, after which she broke down. She was not in the right state of mind to give a statement.
The report also mentioned that she tried her best to showcase herself as the victim. According to the Free Press Journal, a local guide named Bhakupar Wansai reported that Sonam declined the invitation to return down the 3,000-step journey from the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat village’s deep jungle. As seen in a recent CCTV footage, the couple was spotted abandoning their possessions at a hotel in Sohra. Sonam was then seen conversing on her phone with someone while maintaining a safe distance from Raja, who was busy with the bags.

As seen in a recent CCTV footage, the couple was spotted abandoning their possessions at a hotel in Sohra. Sonam was then seen conversing on her phone with someone while maintaining a safe distance from Raja, who was busy with the bags. The three guys apprehended were engaged in Raja’s killing, according to Meghalaya police.
