Every day, there are fresh updates in the brutal murder of the 29-year-old Raja Raghuvanshi, allegedly killed by his wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi. The police are thoroughly investigating the matter and recently recreated the crime scene with the five accused in custody. In the latest developments, a new name has emerged in this case from Sonam’s call history, and it’s an unidentified man named Sanjay Verma. Read on to know more about it.
What Is The Update?
The police are going deeper and deeper in their investigation of the Meghalaya honeymoon case. They searched the calls of Sonam Raghuvanshi, and a new name has popped up in the investigation. As per the news reports, Sonam called a man named Sanjay Verma 119 times between March 1 and March 25; however, the phone is currently switched off. As per an NDTV report, the man was in contact with Sonam even before their wedding, and after too. However, more details on this development are awaited.

On the other hand, police learnt shocking details about the crime after recreating the crime scene. The killers allegedly used two machetes to kill Raja, and the police also found the second weapon right near the area where the body was found. As per the police, Sonam saw the first attack made at Raja and ran away from the scene when he cried for help. She only came back to dispose off the body.

Raj Kushwaha, Sonam’s alleged boyfriend is arrested in the crime and the police strongly believes that he is the mastermind behind the crime.
