Amid the recent allegations by Mary Kom, Karung Onkholer revealed that she had an affair with a junior boxer in 2013. He claimed that the affair led to a major fallout between them, which they later sorted out. He also alleged that she had an affair with someone from Mary Kom Boxing Academy in 2017. He quoted, “I have their WhatsApp messages as proof. I have proof, with the name of the person with whom she was having an affair. I remained silent. She wanted to stay alone and have another relationship. We’re divorced.”
The footballer said that he won’t be affected by her having another husband, but had a problem with the boxer blaming her. During the same chat, he also revealed that the allegations by Mary Kom were untrue and said that he was living in a rented property in Delhi even after 18 years of being with her. disclosed that he assisted her in establishing and registering the academy, but that someone else serves as chairman. He further revealed that, while Mary provided for the family, he was responsible for raising their children.
