Woman Shares Bill Of Maggie Sold For Rs198 At Airport, Twitter Users Ask, “Kyun Khareeda?”
Twitter users were rude!

India has one of the fastest-growing aviation industries in the world. The Indian population is currently shifting towards travelling by aeroplanes more. However, the prices of various services at the airport are still not feasible, especially for the huge chunk of the middle-class population using it. One such experience was highlighted by a Twitter user who bought Maggie at an insanely high price. The other Twitter users reacted to her post with some very thought-provoking opinions.

A Twitter user by the name of Sejal Sud shared the bill for purchasing Maggie at an airport. She highlighted that the Maggie she bought cost her 198 Rs. The user expressed shock at a snack like Maggie being sold at such an inflated price. The bill that the user shared showed the original price of a Masala Maggie at Rs 183 which had additional GST taxes added to it.

And I don’t know how to react, why would anyone sell something like Maggi at such an inflated price 🥲 pic.twitter.com/oNEgryZIxx

One of the users responded by saying that the Airport Authorities should put a price cap on the items being sold at the airports. Well, this opinion does make us question if there are any controls on the high prices of the services at the airport. Even the water is so expensive there!
It’s selling at 250 in Indigo flights as well … AAI needs to put a cap on the rates for consumers to survive their pockets & hunger as well

However, there were some users who reminded the woman that there are other cost prices that the person selling Maggie at the airport has to pay. The user commented saying that the rent of putting stalls at the airport is quite high which in turn raises the selling price of the product. Some Twitter users were also very harsh with their responses and attacked the woman saying that she should have carried a tiffin. Here are some reactions to it.
Why you bought then😀?

There is no denying that there are many criteria that lead to such high prices for the services and products and an airport, however, that does not make us turn a blind eye to the fact that the middle class is the most affected in this case.
