Lionel Messi’s Kolkata Event Organiser Lands In 14 Days Police Custody After Court Rejects Bail Plea
On saturday, Lionel Messi's Kolkata event organiser went to court over the damage at the Salt Lake stadium.
Lionel Messi’s visit to Kolkata grabbed huge attention, but for all the wrong reasons. The event marked the start of his GOAT India Tour 2025 and thousands of eager fans headed towards Salt Lake Stadium to see their idol. Sadly, things went wrong quickly after the Argentine footballer stayed for only about 20-30 minutes, and most people struggled to get a clear view of him. Many felt the focus shifted to VIP guests and left others upset.
Unhappy fans lost their temper and started throwing bottles and chairs onto the field. They tore up seats, broke barriers, and some even ran onto the pitch. The anger grew because tickets were super expensive but still people could not enjoy it for a bit. Many expressed their frustration on social media. They blamed the management and demanded a refund.
no wonder half of the major events end up being held in mumbai. i mean the chaos and mismanagement that happened today in kolkata was sad. imagine the crowd paid 10-12k just for a glimpse and unse woh bhi nahi dikh paya. so messed up.

As per reports, the judge said no to bail and put him in police custody for 14 days to check everything. Meanwhile, organisers have said they will give refunds to angry fans.
