What Is A Polygraph Test?
The polygraph test is basically to understand and know if the alleged accused is telling the truth. It’s a lie detector test that analyses the person through the physiological responses. It measures the heartbeat, blood pressure, pulse and respiration among other indicators.
The CBI has also questioned the RG Kar Medical College principal Sandeep Ghosh for the fourth time. They suspect some discrepancies in his statements and therefore his WhatsApp texts and calls are under surveillance.
On the other hand, the victim’s parents have also levelled strong allegations against the department and college. They have claimed the involvement of more people in the crime and have put their faith in the CBI’s investigation. The Supreme Court will hear the case on Tuesday, August 20.
