A former employee of the Kolkata RG Kar Hospital has claimed ex principal used to sell unclaimed dead bodies!

In a shocking new update, it is being reported that the ex-principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital Sandip Ghosh used to sell unclaimed dead bodies. The shocking statement was made by a former deputy superintendent of the hospital, he also claimed that Sandip Ghosh was involved in numerous other illegal activities inside the hospital. The report also revealed he was involved in corruption as well.

During an interview with India Today, Akhtar Ali, the former deputy superintendent of the hospital revealed the disturbing information and also mentioned that the culprit Sanjoy Roy, who took away the female PG trainee’s life was part of the principal’s security. Akhat Ali then went on the reveal that Sandip Ghosh was even involved in the trafficking of biomedical waste and medical supplies to Bangladesh. In the report by India Today, Akhtar Ali was quoted saying that Sandip Ghosh used to do business with unclaimed dead bodies. A case was also registered against him. He then revealed that the ex-principal of RG Kar was also involved in trafficking biomedical waste, and used to sell it to the people who were part of his additional security and then it was then sent to Bangladesh.
Who Is Akhtar Ali?
Akhtar Ali is the former deputy superintendent of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. He worked there till 2023 and was removed later when he tried to raise an alarm about the illegal activities before the state vigilance commission. He also revealed to India Today that he was also part of the enquiry committee against Sandip Ghosh, but no action was taken against the former principal even though the investigation found him guilty. When he submitted an inquiry report about the hospital he was transferred on the same day.
The report further revealed that Sandip Ghosh used to take 20% commission on every tender, and was always given to his two close aids namely Suman Hazra and Biplab Singha.
