Singer Arijit Singh releases new song to show support the brutal rape and murder case of trainee doctor in Kolkata.

Many people from across various industries have come forward to join the protests against the brutal rape and murder case of a 31-year-old trainee doctor in Kolkata. Popular singer Arijit Singh also raised his voice for the poor handling of women’s safety concerns in the country. He released a new Bengali track titled ‘Aar Kobe’ which basically calls for justice for all the women who have suffered silently in pain and have gone through the atrocities.

The Bengali song titled ‘Aar Kobe’ was Arijit Singh’s way of showing his support for all the women across the country who have suffered pain in silence. In this song, he also demanded justice for these women and strengthened the hopes of all the Kolkata people by expressing that their efforts would not be in vain. In his explanation of the song, the National Award Winner also said that the song is not just to show support for the victims of such heinous crimes but also demands strong actions for the culprits behind it. He further wrote that the song ‘Aar Kobe’ is also for the doctors who work hard despite all the dangers that haunt them. Arijit Singh also added that his new track also expressed the need to act on all the crimes against women and make the world safer for them. He also called the song a tribute to all the doctors, journalists and students and a reminder that they need to be protected.
