Kolkata Doctor Rape, Murder Case: New Picture From RG Kar Medical College Raises Concerns About Crime Scene Being Compromised
In their earlier statement, the Kolkata Police said that the crime scene was not altered and secured.

There were many questions raised on the investigation carried out by the Kolkata police in the brutal rape and murder case of the 31-year-old doctor. Another viral picture from the hospital is going viral in the media. In this picture, more than 10 people can be spotted around the victim’s body and it has yet again raised concerns on whether the crime scene was compromised or not. However, in their previous statements, the Kolkata police maintained that the crime scene was secured and no unauthorised personnel were allowed. Read to know more.
New Picture Of Crime Scene Released In Media
As per a news report by Times Now, a new picture was released from the RG Kar Medical College. In this picture, many people can be seen at the crime scene. Among doctors and other hospital staff, other people are also captured around the victim’s body. The picture raised concerns about the crime scene being altered during the investigation. The victim’s family also raised similar concerns during the investigation and that led to the case being transferred to CBI. In their official statement to the media, the Kolkata police had stated that the crime scene was secured by them and it was done using a curtain. They also added that nobody was allowed in the area.

Recently, call recordings between the victim’s family and the doctor also got leaked, however, the victim’s father has denied taking any responsibility for it. They have only demanded justice for their daughter.
The West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also demanded justice for the victim. She also stated that her government will propose a bill to ensure capital punishment for rapists and murderers.
