Many shocking revelations about the Kolkata doctor rape and murder case have been coming out every day. The entire incident has shaken the country and sparked worldwide outrage. Doctors are demanding justice for the 31-year-old trainee doctor and better safety measures. This evening, it was reported that the victim’s parents received three calls on August 9 from a hospital employee. Read to know more.

What Did The Employee Say To The Kolkata Doctor’s Parents On August 9?

On the night of the crime, the 31-year-old trainee doctor’s parents received three calls in which the man refused to explain what happened to her. During the first call, the assistant superintendent of RG Kar Medical Hospital immediately asked the woman’s parents to come to the hospital. According to India Today, the caller told them that their daughter was not doing well and requested them to come to the hospital immediately. Furthermore, when her parents asked for more information, the man said that she wasn’t feeling well and was being admitted.

The victim’s father put pressure on the man and asked him for further details; however, he only said that the doctors would explain to them in detail. During the second call, the caller informed me that their daughter’s health was critical. Furthermore, in the third call, the man told them that their daughter must have committed suicide. “The police are here. We are at the hospital, in front of everyone, making this  call,” said the caller. The 31-year-old trainee doctor was brutally raped and murdered at the seminar hall of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The accused, Sanjay Roy, has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody.
