The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has officially filed a charge sheet against Sanjay Roy in connection with the tragic case where a trainee doctor was brutally raped and murdered at RG Kar Hospital. According to the charge sheet details, accused Sanjay Roy committed these heinous acts on August 9, when the victim was reportedly resting in the seminar room of RG Kar Medical Hospital during a break.
Furthermore, as per the charge sheet submitted to a special court in Kolkata, Sanjay Roy, who was working as a civic volunteer with the local police, is accused of committing the crime alone. Earlier, it was reported that the 31-year-old trainee doctor was gangrape, however, with the latest reports, Sanjay Roy did the gruesome act alone. Moreover, the CBI did not include any allegations of gang rape in their report. The investigation continues to unfold as the case moves forward. As per the autopsy report, the trainee doctor had 25 internal and external injuries on her body. Additionally, due to the CCTV footage, Sanjay Roy was spotted entering the room in the morning.
