They have also sought permission for the test for four other people related to the case. Read to know more.
Why Has CBI Asked Permission For Polygraph Test On Ex RG Kar College Principal?
As per the latest updates on the 31-year-old trainee doctor’s brutal rape case at the RG Kar Medical College, the CBI is not seeking permission to carry a lie-detector test on the college’s former principal Sandip Ghosh and four other doctors from the hospital. This comes after the CBI found some discrepancies in their answers during the investigation. The CBI has questioned Sandip Ghosh several times but they are not satisfied with his answers as it does not seem to look honest. The CBI had asked the ex-principal about his decision to make the victim’s parents wait for three hours and why he permitted the renovation of the room adjacent to the crime scene.
The CBI expects to match the answers of the doctors with the available evidence and therefore has sought permission to conduct a polygraph test.
