The Kolkata doctor rape and murder raised concerns over women’s safety in the country and the working conditions for doctors. The investigation by the CBI has revealed many shocking details about the crime. As per the latest updates, the CBI is not satisfied with the answers given by Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College where the crime happened. Therefore they are thinking of conducting a polygraph test on him as well.
Why Does CBI Want To Conduct A Polygraph Test On Sandip Ghosh?
In the latest updates on the 31-year-old doctor rape and murder case in Kolkata, the Central Beaurau Of Investigation (CBI) is pushing for a polygraph test on Sandip Ghosh, the ex-principal of the RG Kar Medical College. He had resigned from the position just two days after the horrific crime took place in the seminar hall of the college. The CBI has grilled the former principal four times, and the investigating team has found some serious discrepancies in his answers. During the questioning, the CBI asked Sandip Ghosh about his first reaction after hearing about the crime. He was also asked about his decision to make the parents wait for three hours before letting them see their daughter’s body.
The CBI also questioned Sandip Ghosh for granting permission to renovate the room next to the seminar hall.

As per the latest update, the CBI suspects some major loopholes in the answers given by Sandip Ghosh and is therefore considering doing a polygraph test on the former principal. The CBI has also got permission to conduct the lie-detector test on the prime accused, Sanjay Roy.
