Famous YouTuber and educator Khan Sir recently tied the knot in a private ceremony held in Patna. While the wedding occasion was celebrated widely on social media, it was also criticised heavily over the bride’s choice to wear a ghoonghat (veil) that covered her face during the wedding reception. Addressing the discussion in a recent podcast with ANI, Khan Sir offered clarity and context on the matter.

What Did Khan Sir Say?

During the chat, when the topic of notable guests at the ceremony came up, the host also touched upon the growing buzz around the bride’s veiled appearance. Khan Sir calmly explained that it was entirely his wife’s decision to wear the ghoonghat. “She wanted to do something different,” he shared, adding that she had always imagined herself looking like a traditional bride on her big day.

The educator revealed that his wife, AS Khan, simply wanted to stand out and feel special amid all the well-dressed guests at the event. Covering her face with a veil, according to her, was her way of living the bridal moment she had dreamed of since childhood.
