About Pawan Singh’s Wife

Jyoti Singh refused to accompany the police officials to the station despite their multiple requests. She even accused them of humiliating her. One of the officers said that there were ongoing legal proceedings between the couple and mentioned a complaint filed by her, allegedly accusing Singh of murder. Jyoti denied this and said that her complaint about maintenance was not criminal in nature. The scenario swiftly deteriorated when she, obviously upset, threatened to take poison in front of the police officers.

She said that she came here only to get justice and that she will go home and take poison. She refused to leave the house and said that only her dead body would leave. “This is the last time I’m saying this. I come from a respectable family, both as a daughter and daughter-in-law. If I’m being forced to go to a police station, I’ll take poison right here,” were her words. Jyoti went on to accuse her husband of cheating. She claimed Pawan Singh had taken another woman to a hotel in front of her soon after the elections.
