Father Of Indian YouTuber Arrested For Alleged Spying Defends Daughter, Says She Travelled To Pakistan For Vlogs

A shocking case emerged when an Indian YouTuber was arrested for allegedly spying for Pakistan. Her name is Jyoti Malhotra, and she is currently under police custody. The SP gave an official statement on the matter and explained how influencers are being used to create soft narratives. Now, YouTuber’s father has also reacted to her arrest, and he defended his daughter by claiming that she went to Pakistan after completing all necessary procedures. Read on to know more.
What Did The Father Say?
The police have arrested YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra because she was allegedly passing sensitive information to Pakistan. The police have also claimed that she had visited Pakistan a few times before the Pahalgam attack. The SP of Hisar has also given an official statement and said that she must have gotten some external finances for her trip to Pakistan. Furthermore, the YouTuber is also accused of being connected with Pakistan Intelligence Operatives during the Indo-Pak escalations.
Now, the YouTuber’s father reacted to her arrest, and while talking to the media, he said that his daughter visited Pakistan only to shoot videos for her vlogs. He also does not find anything wrong with the YouTuber calling her friends in Pakistan. The father has urged the officials to return their phones and also said that his daughter had completed all the necessary documentation required to travel to Pakistan.

The YouTuber hails from Hisar and is currently being questioned by the Haryana Police. As per the news reports, Jyoti also made many vlogs in Pakistan and was connected with a person named Danish who had been expelled by Indian on the grounds of alleged espionage.
