On the field, the game was full of big hits and energy. Mumbai Indians had to chase a huge score of 221 runs. They finished the chase easily in just 19.1 overs. Ryan Rickelton played brilliantly and scored 81 runs off 43 balls. Rohit Sharma also batted very well and made 78 runs off 38 balls. Rohit even broke Virat Kohli’s record for scoring the most runs against one IPL team.
KKR batted first after winning the toss. Their captain Ajinkya Rahane scored a half-century. But the real star was young debutant Angkrish Raghuvanshi. He hit a quick 51 runs in only 29 balls and helped KKR reach 220 for four.
