Despite being in the league for decades, both team haven’t experienced the joy of winning the maiden title. Punjab is currently leading the title against Bengaluru with 19 points. However, the weather might not be in the audience’s favour today as it doesn’t look pleasant at the moment.
Ahmedabad’s Weather Forecast For June 3
According to AccuWeather, there’s a 66% probability of rain in Ahmedabad, raising concerns about the final for both teams and their spectators. Temperatures are expected to stay around 38 degrees Celsius, with significant humidity levels. However, the weather is likely to improve by evening, with rain chances reducing to just 5%. Despite this, the remaining 33% cloud cover could keep both groups on edge.

As per IPL Final conditions, there have been measures to ensure the final contest is completed. From adding an hour, extending the duration to 120 minutes, to having a reserve day is ensured. Rain also hampered the start of the PBKS vs MI Qualifier 2, causing a delayed start. However, once the play began, there were no further interruptions, and Punjab Kings delivered a convincing performance to secure their place in the final. Iyer, who led Kolkata Knight Riders to a title victory in 2024, scored a spectacular 41-ball undefeated 87 against MI to help Punjab Kings reach their first final in 11 years.
