The ongoing Sheena Bora murder case is a very complicated one that is getting tangled with every new update. Recently, the key witness, Vidhie Mukherjea, the daughter of the accused Indrani Mukherjea and Sanjeev Khanna, was deposed before the court, and she made some shocking claims before the judge. Vidhie also claimed that her mother’s jewellery and money were stolen by her sons from the previous marriage with Peter Mukherjea. Read on to know more.
What Did Vidhie Mukherjea Say?
Vidhie Mukherjea was presented before the CBI Jugde J P Darekar as the key witness in the Sheena Bora murder case. During which, Vidhie claimed that her mother Indrani Mukherjea could not defend herself due to lack of resources. Furthmore, she also claimed that the sons of Peter Mukerjea, Rahul and Rabin had stolen her mother’s expensive jewellery and Rs 7 crore cash for the bank account. Vidhie also stated that the sons have motive to falsely accuse her mother Indrani in the murder case, as per PTI reports.
Vidhie also denied recording any official statements before the central probe agency (CBI) or Mumbai Police, who were initially investigating the case. Although she acknowledged being called by them for the investigation. As per the reports, she also denied making any statements given in the CBI chargesheet and said that they were “false and fabricated”.

Before the Judge, Vidhie again reiterated that there must be some ulterior motive if statements were recorded under her pretext.

The key witness also narrated and spoke about her condition during her mother’s arrest. At the time of the case, Vidhie was a minor. For the unversed, Indrani Mukherjea is currently out on bail.
