Jyoti Malhotra has been accused of travelling to Pakistan several times before the Pahalgam terror attack. As per a report by India Today, sources have claimed that Jyoti’s travel for her vlogs was sponsored by a UAE firm by the name Wego that also had the license to operate from Pakistan. However, the investigation has been going on for sponsors who all made Jyoti’s travels possible for her YouTuber vlogs.
In the latest statement, the police have confirmed that they did not find any substantial proof to link the YouTuber connection with any terrorist organisation. However, they had said that Jyoti had confessed to being in regular contact with a Pakistani official, working at the High Commission in New Delhi. The police are also checking her bank account and transactions for more evidence.

As per the latest updates, Jyoti Malhotra has been sent to police remand for the next 4 days by the Hisar High Court, and she is currently being interrogated in the espionage case.
The police also stated that many Pakistani organisations were trying to make influencers and YouTubers their soft target and generate a soft narrative on their country. Amid this, a Pakistani journalist also made a strong comment on India’s action against the alleged espionage cases. The intelligence authorities got into quick action action after the Pahalgam terror attack that took 26 innocent lives.
