It’s unfortunate to see the dire state of India’s neighbouring country, Nepal, after the Gen Z protests escalated. There has been a serious political turmoil, and the Prime Minister has also resigned from the position. Recently, an Indian tourist stranded in the country sought help after allegedly facing a threatening situation during her visit to Nepal. She also informed that the country was in a very bad state. Indian Tourist In Nepal Seeks Help
A video surfaced on social media in which a woman narrated a rather disturbing condition in Nepal. In the video, she introduced herself as Upasana Gill and requested the Indian Embassy to help her immediately. The woman revealed that she was stranded in Pokhara, where she had gone for a Volleyball League. Furthermore, she said that the hotel she was staying in was burnt down and she somehow escaped the place, but all her belongings were left behind. As per the woman, a mob even chased her with sticks, but she had a narrow escape.
As per Upasana Gill, the condition in Nepal was bad, and they were not even sparing the tourists. The woman also got emotional while speaking on video, and repeatedly requested to help everyone who were stuck in Nepal. She also said that many places were burned in the country, and the mobs were setting anything on fire without thinking.

After the video went viral, the Spokesperson of Foreign Ministry Randhir Jaiswal informed through a Tweet that Indian Embassy had reached out the person and she was given the necessary help.

Many celebrities in India have also condemned the violence in Nepal. The list includes actors like Manisha Koirala and Prajakta Koli.
