In recent events, Indian cricketer Harmanpreet Singh made history by becoming the most capped player in international cricket on Thursday, February 19, when she led the Indian women’s national team against Australia in the second T20. This was her 356th international match which took her ahead of Suzie Bades who previously held the record for the most matches in women’s international cricket. After Harmanpreet and Suzie comes Ellyse Perry on third on the list on 349 matches. Cricketer Mithila Raj is at 333 matches, while Charlotte Edwards represented England in 309 games. Among this, Sophie Devine (305), Heather Knight (303), and Danni Wyatt-Hodge (302) are also among the most capped players in the same.

For the unversed, Kaur has played around six tests, 161 ODIs and 189 T20ls in her career, with a record of 200 runs in test, 4,409 in ODIs, and 3,784 runs in T20ls. The Crockett has played 35 matches in the Women’s Premium League, 10 in The Hundred women’s competition, and more. She also led India to the first ever women’s World Cup in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2025, beating South Africa by 52 runs in the final.
