Assistant police commissioner Atul Kumar Singh stated, “Around 12.30 am on Wednesday, all three were with their mothers. After some time, they went to the puja room and locked it from inside. Thereafter, they used a chair to jump out of the window one by one.” All three girls died on the spot, waking up locals and the guard after hearing the loud noise of them falling. Even their family members on the ninth floor heard them fall.

Amid this, the police will go through their phones and analyse the phones they were obsessed with. The girls also left behind notes in a diary stating that they were sorry with a crying caricature. For the unversed, they were obsessed with the game and identified themselves as Koreans and not Indians. They depicted themselves as Korean princesses under the influence of the game. They were addicted to an online task-based game.

The diary has a lot about their lifestyle and obsession.
