Movies are always a reflection of the reality that we see around us. Amid the buzz for Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol starter Gadar 2 directed by Anil Sharma, we also heard the news of some real-life cross-border love stories. Cases like Seema Haider-Sachin Meena and Anju made headlines in the past few days, and Gadar 2 is also a similar story to them in which one person crosses the India-Pak border to stay with his lover. Now, the director of the movie and actor Sunny Deol have given their opinions on real-life love stories.
Anil Sharma and Sunny Deol are quite busy promoting their film and the release date of Gadar 2 is not very far. During the media interactions, the Gadar 2 director was asked about the Seema Haider-Sachin Meena case in which the former came to India from Pakistan to stay with her lover Sachin. Speaking on this, Anil Sharma opined that love has no boundary and that their journey must continue. Also, Anil Sharma believes that the countries should end the system of border which may also become the solution to many problems, as per a report by Times Now. Giving a hint about his film, he further added that there is a monologue that will reflect similar ideologies.
Gadar 2’s lead actor Sunny Deol also spoke his mind on the cross-border love stories. Sunny told the media that people should be respectful of others’ choices instead of making it their own life’s concern. Sunny Deol disagreed with the opinion that movies like Gadar 2 influence people to take such steps, and added that there is a strong role of technology behind this, as per reports. Elaborating on the same, he added that people meet each other through various apps and grow feelings.
