Soon after news of Kash Patel’s hacked emails emerged, a video showing a man of Indian origin dancing to Bollywood music started doing the rounds on social media. X (formerly known as Twitter) accounts started posting details of the hacking case alongside this video. It is a short clip, featuring a bearded man of Indian origin dancing to Sun Sahiba Sun from the 1985 Ram Teri Ganga Maili.

Despite the virality and insinuation, the video has been around since 2021, featuring a man joyfully dancing to the song. Apparently, the man was happy as his wife was going on a trip to her parents’ place. The accounts talking about it being the only video from the large-scale private leak were joking.

About the leak, the ‘Handala Hack’ group revealed that it had access to more than 300 emails, documents, and photographs from Kash Patel’s private account. These had taken place from 2010 to 2019. As this has emerged amid the global conflict involving Israel, Iran, and the United States, many have been expressing their concern about the data breach. Some even wondered how an FBI Director could have gotten hacked in the first place.

Several photographs of Kash Patel in casual settings, including mirror selfies and poses where he is smoking a cigar, have been revealed. The video is definitely unrelated to the FBI Director. However, whether these photographs are real or not is yet to be confirmed. Meanwhile, it is confirmed by the US Justice Department that the breach has indeed taken place, as the data leaked “seemed authentic.”
