Lando Norris recently claimed a thrilling victory at the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix and sent fans into a frenzy. However, the happy moment was soon overshadowed by a massive controversy. During a Twitch livestream, the British racer allegedly made a s*xist comment that ignited a heated debate online and has left fans divided. But what exactly happened, and why is it causing such a stir? Read on to know all about it.

Lando Norris Faces Outrage Over Misogynistic Comment

It all happened during a livestream hosted by driver Max Fewtrell. Lando Norris used his private account “undercoverbobinski” and left a comment, “They’re in the right part of the house tbh,” in reference to Fewtrell’s girlfriend and her friend being in the kitchen. It took only seconds for the comment to go viral across all social media platforms.

Many fans took to X and called him misogynistic. His fans and followers felt extremely betrayed by his comment. Many users even called him a hypocrite and mentioned that he had often praised women working in Formula 1. Fans were disappointed and questioned whether the racer’s earlier support was genuine or just for show.

One user wrote, “Lando Norris talking about how women should be in the kitchen, brother, you are about to deliver a generational stinker so bad you’ll be flipping burgers too by the end of it.”

However, not everyone turned against him. Some fans defended him and added that the comment might have been a joke and was taken out of context. The fans talked about his earlier support for women in the sport and how he thanked female team members after his wins.
