On Wednesday, this news surfaced and highlighted the importance of mental health. Anna’s mother wrote a letter and described her daughter’s experience and the pressures at work the 26-year-old had to endure. In the letter, she accused her daughter’s manager of putting her under immense work pressure for four months. She claimed that her daughter’s first job at EY Pune negatively impacted her mental and physical health, and her manager assigned her work late at night. Furthermore, she also added that Anna would often come home exhausted and hit the bed without changing her clothes. Anna also worked on weekends and had little time to rest. Moreover, her senior employees did not attend her daughter’s funeral.
