In episode 51 of The Male Feminist, Shama Sikander sheds some light on the various casting couch and sexual harassment incidents that she had to go through as a young girl. The actress also revealed how she fought them back as she has always been a vocal human being. Talking about the same, Shama Sikander revealed an uncomfortable shooting experience with a popular industry hero for a TV commercial. She revealed that the actor was playing the role of her husband in the commercial, and tweaked some scenes that made Shama very uncomfortable. Without revealing the actor’s name, she revealed that he hugged her inappropriately.

Shama Sikander also recalled a casting couch incident that happened to her when she was around 14-15 years old. She revealed that the director put his hands on her thighs, and how Shama fought him back.
