Epstein Files Update: Ex-UK Prince Andrew Under Arrest, Thomas Valley Police Issue Statement

Andrew’s name in the Epstein files is not a new development. Still, it is a big deal, considering this is his first arrest regarding the accusations. About the suspect, the Thomas Valley Police arrested “a man in his sixties from Norfolk.” Noting that it was an open investigation, the representative added that they would not be revealing the identity of the suspect, and those publishing the news need to take care to “avoid being in contempt of court.” They also mentioned further searches at “addresses in Berkshire and Norfolk.”

The BBC and other British news outlets broke the story of the arrest. The police assistant chief said that they were cognizant of public interest and would provide updates as soon as they had any.

Why Was Former Prince Andrew Mentioned In The Epstein Emails?

Several instances of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor came up in the Epstein files, although he has categorically denied all allegations. As reported by the BBC, a set of 2010-11 emails implies that Andrew passed confidential documents to Jeffrey Epstein. These include government briefings and papers about investment opportunities in Afghanistan. Given that the former prince was the United Kingdom’s trade envoy at the time, the suspicion is serious.

Apart from this, a witness claimed that in 2010, the dead s*x trafficker transported her to Andrew’s Royal Lodge. They also alleged an alleged s*xual encounter with the ex-prince. After being revealed in 2026, police are investigating these accusations.
