The demise of Euphoria actor Angus Cloud has deeply saddened his fans and the show’s co-stars. The news of his demise was broken by Angus’ family members on July 31, 2023, and ever since condolences and tributes for him have been shared on social media platforms. Recently, the cast of Euphoria including Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Barbie Ferreira, Chloe Cherry, and more took to their social media to share heartfelt condolences on Angus Cloud’s untimely demise.

Zendaya took to her Instagram handle to pen a lengthy note for Angus Cloud. She wrote that words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Cloud. She is also thankful for having gotten an opportunity to call him a brother, and to get to know him. Zendaya further wrote that she will cherish all the moments she spent with him.

Eric Dane who played the role of Jacob Elordi’s father in the HBO show also took to his social media to pay tribute to Angus Cloud, and wrote that he is truly sad.

In a statement to Variety, Euphoria director Sam Levinson expressed shock over Cloud’s demise and said that he was ‘too special and young’ to leave them so soon. He also revealed that Cloud suffered from addiction and depression.
Lukas Gage who played a prominent role in Euphoria season one was among the first ones from the cast of the show to mourn Angus’ demise. He also commented on Cloud’s latest Instagram post, and wrote, “Rest easy.”

In an official statement to the People Magazine, Angus Cloud’s family members said that he had been struggling with the loss of his father who passed away the previous week.
