In recent events, badminton player Jwala Gutta is receiving worldwide praise for her initiative that could help countless newborns. After welcoming her daughter in April, she has been an active part of a donor milk drive at a government hospital. She shared the news on social media to raise awareness about the vital importance of breast milk for premature and critically ill infants.
About Jwala Gutta’s Initiative
Jwala Gutta recently became a mother to baby Mishra with her husband and actor-producer, Vishnu Vishal. In August, Jwala announced her objective on her X (previously Twitter) account. She wrote, “Breast milk saves lives.” Donor milk has the potential to save the lives of premature and ill babies. If you can donate, you may become a hero to a family in need. Learn more, spread the word, and support milk banks!”
As per reports, the badminton player has donated 30 litres of breast milk so far. This initiative is destined to help babies who don’t have mothers and premature or critically ill infants in hospitals. She has reportedly been donating milk constantly for the past four months. One user commented, “A great contribution, not many will be open to doing such good deeds. Her contribution will directly benefit many babies.”
Jwala Gutta and Vishnu Vishal were married on April 22, 2021. Four years later, on their wedding anniversary, they welcomed their daughter Mira. Vishnu announced the joyous news on social media, including photos of the baby’s small hands and his elder son, Aryan (Vishnu’s son from a previous marriage), visiting his new stepsister.
