Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding was nothing short of a fairy tale, with grandeur and luxury at every turn. The event was the talk of the town, and one of the standout elements was the incredible food served, curated from some of the best restaurants across India. Nita Ambani during her visit to Benaras, invited one of the popular chat shops serving, tamatar chat, palak chat and more to cater for the wedding.

Starting with Mumbai, the city that never sleeps, we had the Bombay Sweet Shop bringing its innovative take on traditional Indian sweets. Guests were treated to a modern twist on classics like mithai and laddoos, adding a sweet spark to the celebrations. Then there was Dum Pukht, renowned for its slow-cooked Mughlai cuisine. Their aromatic biryanis and kebabs were a rich, flavorful hit, reminiscent of royal kitchens.

South Indian flavours were well represented by Cafe Mysore, which dished out perfect dosas, idlis, and vadas. Each bite transported guests straight to the heart of South India. Adding a touch of contemporary flair, Sivako served fusion dishes that combined Indian and international cuisines, impressing everyone with their innovative menu.

Bengaluru, known for its vibrant food scene, sent some of its best. Rameshwaram Cafe, famous for its authentic South Indian cuisine, offered traditional dishes that warmed the hearts of many. Lavonne, the bakery and patisserie, ensured that every guest’s sweet tooth was satisfied with their exquisite cakes and pastries. And for something a bit different, Chinita added a Mexican twist, blending Mexican and Indian flavours in a way that was both familiar and exciting.

From the spiritual city of Varanasi, Kashi Chat Bhandar brought its famous street food. The tangy and spicy chaat was a crowd favourite, offering a burst of flavour with every bite. Adding a touch of tradition, Ramchandra Chaurasia Tambul Bhandar served paan, the quintessential Indian after-meal treat, giving a taste of Varanasi’s vibrant culture.

Goa’s coastal charm was captured by Cavatina, which served seafood delicacies and Goan specialities. The fresh, coastal flavours added a refreshing dimension to the diverse menu. Finally, from New Delhi, Indian Accent brought its contemporary twist to Indian cuisine. Known for pushing culinary boundaries, their innovative dishes showcased the best of Indian culinary art, leaving a lasting impression on all the guests.
